About the Series:
The Tales of Redemeré duology is a prequel to A Daughter's Ransom, following one of the main villains sixteen years prior to his appearance in that series. While Tales of Redemeré does include several shared characters from A Daughter's Ransom, and features some of the same regions, the two series can be read completely independently of each other.
